Sofey Eristis's boots were kicked up on one of those many boxes, and the pirate captain was resting amidst a pile of smelly, salty ropes. Not that she seemed to mind much. In the fading afternoon-to-evening sun, the serval was enjoying a small little nap, of sorts. A bottle of rum had been held in her left paw, and had somehow snuggled up onto her chest, like a little baby. When the noise of an order came about, it woke the serval, who proceeded to turn right to that bottle and take another swig. Blurry eyes started to adjust to the scene... What was happening?
Yaelth's eyes bloody bulge. She'd litterally just come meandering down the docks with her haul. Key word. Her, haul. They were being taken into custody? Fine but no one was getting near her haul or her arrows. Or bow. "The hell? What the flying fooks and nuts joo all chattering about, your chirping up there will scare all the fish and ze bait!" Hollars the fiesty otter who cared more about her past time than the navy. At least for now.
Jamison Marshall stood where he was before turning around, facing the large number of people with confusion. They'd been here four months and only now did an army show up to stop them, right as they were finally getting out of the place? Hm...that certainly was a lot of people they were up against. He knew they could likely handle them somehow, the question was how many injuries and casualties would be sustained, what would be lost in the battle, and so on. How many deaths could be prevented was another question. Hopefully they would be able to live in peace, although with their captain being the hothead he was, that seemed unlikely. The best bet would be to create a diversion and some sort of fog...although he may need Frosty's help with that. Where was she anyway...? All of this would be thought within a few moments time.
Frosty Bun had seen the army coming some ways in town. Since they blocked the main road to the docks, she took to the beach. Running hard and as fast as she could to make it to the ship before the army. But it seemed they where just a bit faster then she. Panting hard, she came up to Jami and leaned into him, out of breath. Looking to the army she whined, "Sorry captan.... didn't make it in time it seems" she said gently as she continued to pant.
The entire situation even had a few Hollow guards that came along for supervision of the force that was to be used within the territory of the Hollow, just to make sure that everything was in the best interest of the city but they mainly stayed out of the situation, keeping back closer to the road as this was clearly a matter for the Navy. The squirrel captain would turn to Frosty with a small smile of reassurance, "Your effort was valiant regardless." Stepping forward, he'd still hold one arm out to make sure that aside from a few stinging insults that would main come from Yaelth and possibly a few other members on his crew, "Last I recall, there was nothing illegal that me or my crew have done here in Kasuria!" A very choice set of words, catching the attention of the fox who spoke earlier, who would also hold out a hand to the muzzles that were suddenly pointed towards the approaching squirrel, "Do not play a fool with me!" He'd accuse with a glare, "We know about the request you made to the librarians of the Hollow University about a supposed artifact! And we've caught one of your crew already in possession of one of them." That last remark had a particularly sharp reaction from the squirrel; eyes narrowing with a sharp flick of his tail, "The Pieces were outlawed over a hundred years ago and anyone searching for them, let alone in possession of them, is to be taken into custody under the decree of the High Kasurian Admirals." Lifting a hand, he'd motion to everyone on the dock - including the hung-over Sofey there, "And that includes everyone here, we will not take chances with this."
Sofey Eristis's eyes were adjusting to the entire scene of what was happening. Here this ol' lazy pirate was laying on the docks in some type of alcoholic, rum-inspired stupor, minding her own business, when things began to get serious! The serval was sipping on that bottle when she was regarded in the 'everyone' statement. The eyes of the serval fell upon that of the yelling, angry Fox. Sofey simply shrugged it off for right now, and continued to lounge there as if she wasn't part of the group included. Indignant little thing she was... "'Ey, Cap'n Aymen... why ye be disturbin' me beauty rest with ye friends?" said the woman with a heavy, heavy smirk.
Yaelth scrunched up her nose real good, the otter made damn well sure to shake her fist. She peers over to the capatain and utters a firm. "I don't know what the damned he's talking about, mebbe he's a daft on jeah? All that wind up his nose making him fart out words that don't mean much to -" Then the sharp flick of the captain's tail happens. Perceptive creature frowns. Something was known here. She'd fall silent soonenough watching the squirrel longer. Waiting for instructions. That was all the newbie could do at the moment!
Jamison Marshall would blink a few times. Artifact? He knew not of this artifact in question. He'd step forward, hands in the air. "Sir, if I may speak, Frosty and I were not aware of any artifacts being seeked. In fact, this is the first we are hearing of this..." he'd say, turning to the captain, then back to the fox. "We are merely travelers, myself an inventor and she a specialized merchant, simply wishing to see sights and gather resources and knowledge for our respective professions. If you know of anyone who can sense whether someone is lying or telling the truth, they would tell you we are not lying. You are even welcome to test that theory if you wish."
Frosty Bun blinked and looked to Jami then when he finished. She put his hands down and sighed. "Shut up Jami... let the captain handle this" she said as she stood beside the other and shook her head. Even she didn't know what was going on or what the fox was talking about. But she knew better and kept her own mouth shut.
There was a very heavy feeling as the fox and squirrel exchanged hard stares at one another but anyone that could see Nykita could also see that the fox had said something that made him get very serious, even the facitious tone of the serval was being ignored by him at the moment and as he was about to say something, Jamison decided to step forward and have all eyes turned on him, some of them scrutinizing but others merely giving him an unsure look as if trying to decide of he was being serious or just trying to string everyone along in a very quirky act - "What could be so important that even looking for them is deemed a crime?" The tension returned as the fox stared at the squirrel again, letting out an annoyed growl, "You will find out when you are brought before the Commodore and your crew are thoroughly questioned about what they know." A glance was spared to Jamison, not a nice one another, "And trust me, they'll get the truth out from them..." Reaching back, the fox captain would grasp the oversized sword at his back, a much different weapon than the rest of the marines carried as their standardized gear, "Now, you scum coming along?" He'd take his eyes off the squirrel and gave a glare to those present, locking eyes with the mouth otter, the drunk serval, the eccentric mouse and the frosty bunny!
Sofey Eristis stretched herself a little bit, just the way any real kitty would. It looked, awkward, too. Sofey was hardly feminine, and only part feline! So, the stretching was definitely an odd sight to see. The serval's belly was exposed just slightly under that armor. Another swig of the rum was taken, and the serval proceeded to slowly, slowly get up. "Scum... Ye ain't got'eh more colorful term fer'es lowlifes?" said the hybrid, cocky grin putting itself up. The bottle of rum was lowered to the dock, and Sofey put both her gloved hands on her hips. A look was made from left-to-right as she took in total number of marines, their armor... details that any fighter would want to know before they reacted.
Yaelth bristles. She looks between captain and between fox and between captain and between fox. Then her gaze lingered on fox, if he wasn't such a tight ass, that may or may not killd her for something she had no clue about she'd totes tap - wait focus. Focus. She blinks and mutters to herself. Then to the captain. "I'll go no jour word, cap'n I ain't got nothin to hide." Nothing at all.
Jamison Marshall would blush, smiling to Frosty in an attempt to show confidence, but suddenly feeling rather endangered after the glares and his girl's reaction. "Oops, wrong time..." he'd mutter under his breath. As smart as he was, public relations and etiquette were something he was still figuring out somewhat. He wasn't a mind-reader after all, and the only reason he was so good with steam engineering was because he had spent many years of his younger life with too much time and nobody to spend it with.
Frosty Bun sighed and rolled her eyes at the other. She watched and listened as she stood there. Looking to their captain as she bit her lip some. "Captain.... not to rush you.... but what are we going to do?:" she said gently as she eyed the guards some. She could put up a wall between them and the guards.... but she wasn't sure if it would go up fast enough.
Nocturnal Aymen's form could be spotted some ways away yet, and in the sky. Clearly visiable by the large blue wings, and the three tails that seemed to swing a little back and fourth. Within the womans arms, held before her, rest a crate. Ears flickered down against her head as she came in upon the scene.. and was thusly escorted... with a growl.. down, by two of the mounted guards. The hybrid had already had an ordeal with some of them earlier, and thanks to a dear friend... she'd escaped. Said friend, was making her way along the streets, almost following the hybrids motions from above, and soon enough stepped onto the scene, as well. With.. said escort, the woman landed.. ears flattening against her head as the crate was jostled just a little.. and not by her paws. The crate itself carried a slew of expensive, rare, and very hard to find herbs and spices, as well as a few other things. Like hell she'd let some idiot jostle them. Noct'd bit her tongue though, for now, soft steps carrying her frame up aside her squirrel, giving a flicker of gaze amongest each individual there... Turning, the crate was set near the gangplank.. should she be allowed, just as she'd come back and take her place, at the Captains side.
Nykita Aymen had realized that he was in something much deeper than he realized, glancing back at the otteress coming close to his side, perking a brow at her request before a smirk curled at the side of his muzzle, respecting her loyalty to his decision but also amused that he would make such a decision. Then to Frosty coming up at his other side, "Start making it." He answered to her in a low voice, turning to the fox again and stepping forward to keep the attention on himself as much as he could, "At least it makes sense why Morighanna RavensSword is no longer heard from!" Calling out with a grin, the marines having trained most of their weapons onto him, at least seven pointing at the cocky serval standing and eyeing them all while the screech of scarhawks above signaled a new entrance being guided down by the Raptor Knights, who expertly flew down on the flanks of the hybrid to make sure that she was not going to veer away and try to fly off without landing, "Scum? Perhaps but I wouldrather be seen as the scum of this world than to be one of you who protect and uphold a lie!" Nykita pointed at the Grey Fox, who flattened his ears at the accusation, "Claim whatever authority or justice you want, I refuse to recognize you or your damned Navy as a power that holds any sway over my decisions!" The squirrel glared hard at the fox, who returned it with an equally intense emotion, lifting his hand in a signal for the marines to start stepping forward - hopefully Frosty was going to be good on the wall of ice though!"
Kirkis flew to the beach as soon as he heard that the harbinger was going to be taking off soon. The winged one not wanting to just let them leave without getting to say his own farewell. The orb flying at his shoulder as he soon draws close. The orb taking in the sight of those that are already there, as he reaches for the pouch that is at his side. Drawing out seeds from within. The amount of marines far outnumbering the amount of guards, perhaps he would be able to help even out the odds. Though the raptor knights that are in the air tends to have him worried, just a bit.
Sofey Eristis's eyes were moving between a few of the Marines as they stood there. Sofey could see the seven weapons trained on her, and the heavy smirk that was on her lips. Well, this was going to hurt a lot... She could kind of sense that there as a scuffle about to happen, and she was pleased with this. The serval reached over slowly, surely, methodically with her left gloved hand to pick up that bottle of rum. "Cheers, then..." said the serval, who still held "On ye, Cap'n...." Eyes went to Nykita for a moment, waiting for the first move to be made. Her free right hand put itself to her belt, and something was reached for.
Frosty Bun hearing his order, she began to focus on the wall. She had been up and down these beaches and docks for weeks. She knew them well, the air was heavy with water from the sea. It made it easier to work faster. Already a chilly fog was forming as their captain spoke. Seeing the arm raised, she did the same quickly. Within seconds a ice wall crackled and formed infront of them. Throwing one hand to her left, the wall stretched and moved into the water and down the beach. Again with her right and the wall continued. She stretched it far to give them time. Looking up, she took a deep breath and blew, frosty breath reached to the top of the wall and arched up over the dock to give shielding from above.
Jamison Marshall would help Frosty somewhat to raise and expand the wall faster. Once the wall was up, he'd turn to the sea and focus on the water there as well as in the air, condensing the moisture and raising the ocean waters to create a dense fog that would be very hard to see through. Once that was done, he'd await further orders, although he'd remain prepared by pulling a few gallons of water from the ocean and setting it hovering around him, ready to set upon the first foe that attacked.
Nocturnal Aymen's ear flickered lightly as she listened quietly to everything that was taking place, and thusly happening. Eyes danced between each figure, each face.. only to flicker an ear again.. close enough to catch the softly spoken words her husband gave to Frosty. Eyes danced towards the bun, canting her head as she watched the bun for a long moment.. bottom lip was pulled between her teeth as one long tail, followed by a second moved across the dock, and curled quietly about the bun's leg, coiling up towards her waist. Eyes danced to the sky, watching the other flying character, with an arched brow.. one she hadn't quite met yet. A soft smile graced her muzzle just as the wall of ice began to form... Noct'd take a deep breath and focus, pushing her energy towards the bun, giving her energy to help with the wall of ice, to help with not exhausting oneself, to help with anything she needed. At the same time the vines, attached to the womans back moved forward, and down, brushing across the dock.. a soft whispering sound was heard. Oh yes, they'd been here long enough for Gaea to inspect, and be curious about the land and its occupants. There was trouble, and the plant wasn't a fool.. As the icewall built, the vines followed, twisting and turning, winding their way over the wall, branching off, on both sides, leaving tendrils to sway and flicker, threatening anyone that was not the crew, or friendly towards the crew. The top of the ice wall, even as it curved, was covered too, and those that were above them, in flight, were reached for should they come down too close. The hybrid simply focused on the tasks at paw.. Noct's crate, and any other crate ship bound, was tugged at, and pulled upon by the vines that graced the ship and lived in the wood, showing true the fact that the ship could easily be considered alive. Each crate hefted over the railing, and carried down the stairs. A command, by the hybrid.. it'd simply make their all the smoother.
Raykit wandered from below deck of the harbinger. He had finished working on a weapon not to long ago, and was covered in the blood of several animals in order to finish the bindings required. He hummed to himself, looking to the sky. The noises from the edge of the ship catching his attention. Slowly, he would walk over to the edge, using a small rag to wipe his claws free of blood, not minding the rest that covered his form or face instead it was a sort of old habit. His trinkets swaying, chiming lightly in the wind as he gazed over at the small crowd. Brow arched in confusion as to what was taking place. He caught Nocturnal then the captain. He'd snort gazing at all the marines, a light grin crossing his features as he tossed the rag over his shoulder. Someone besides him had started a mess it had seemed, something he might be able to gain from at that should an unfortunate marine wander on deck.
The first wave of marines advanced forward, trained sailors who did not shoot just because they saw their targets moving or anything like that - they outnumbered the Harbinger crew at least three to one AND were prepared! Though the wall of ice was not something they had apparently expected, looking down at the first crackling of ice and stepped back in alarm as the thick wall of frozen water shot up into the air, even scattering the Raptor Knights flying low with a few screeches from the mounts, "Get everything on the ship! Move!" Nykita called out as he fanned his arms back, motioning for the others to get everything they needed onto the ship with haste because they were not going to get another clean chance like this as the top of the ice cover suddenly cracked under the strike of of claws and blades, the formidable knights of the sky assaulting the shield to already start breaking it down and rain chunks of the ice down upon the people below! Not even a minute past though, the front would start to crack under a great blow from the other side, a thick section of it being blasted away with the grey fox captain standing at the entrance, holding his large blade in both hands with a soft pant, opening a part for the marines to get through and push forward - now they were firing! Flashes of black powder also adding a thick smoke to the fog! While those that went to the gangplank would find themselves facing off against the armored Raptor Knights that landed on the far side of the docks, brandishing their magical blades and shields - it was safe to expect that at least two, if not three marines came at each person inside.
Kirkis sighs as he knows that he sin't going to enjoy this one bit. The orb glowing brightly as it too takes to summoning water up from the ocean to freeze into spikes and send after the raptor knights. The avariel scattering the seeds throughout the marines and sending a wave of energy into the seeds he scatters. As the new form of nature begins to take shape to attack the guards. His own seeds once they scatter upon the marines cling to them with tiny barbs. The energy sent into them causing them to grow and entangle the guards. The blind elf nimbly avoiding the ice wall as he flies around it so that he would be on the opposite side where he can land on the far side of the docks.
Sofey Eristis was about to throw a knife! She was going to... An ice wall now blocked Sofey from seeing her opponent that was in front of her, and the other two marines that she was scoping out and hoping to take from life very, very quickly. It was kind of obvious that this scuffle wasn't an average bar fight, and Sofey was very much so guilty by association... to the docks! A shrug of her shoulders was made, turning once to see that a handful of Raptor Knights had landed nearest the gangplank. In doing so, a stray bullet would end up shooting through her left shoulder! Silly serval wasn't paying attention. A hearty laugh came up on her vocals, the sadistic kind only enjoyed by someone who loved the pain they were in. Might as well plug the hole... Sofey shot for the opening in the ice-wall with a sprint and would hope to give such a hard, heavy boot kick to one of the entering Marines that it would send him FLYING back, and into his fellows.
Yaelth was....not sure what was going on! She just hears towards the docks and does as told. Questions coul dbe aske dlater The otter makes some sort of attempt to shamble right on back to the boxes. Wait. Box or her food? There was the very real question - even as two (perhaps a third) marine made their way for the woman. Choice was made. Using the recently caugt fish as weapons she's tossing the slimey things at faces. With any luck she does not have to actually waste any tossing daggers for she sure as hell was not pulling out her already limited arrows.
Jamison Marshall would attempt to hold the integrity of the wall, although doing so for such a large wall was rather difficult, so he decided to focus on particular parts of it rather than the entire thing. When the front of the wall was broken, he'd raise the pieces and attempt to shove them back at the wall, sending them through and scattering the soldiers there first. Of course, he'd wait for the serval girl to move out of the way first. He'd then turn to his girlfriend. "Frosty! How are you holding up?"
Frosty Bun whole body was giving off a cold mist now as she focused on her wall. Reforming broken bits off, filling in cracks. She had began to falter till she felt the tail around her. Looking back some, she smiled at Noc as she felt her strangth begin to return. "I'm good Jami" She said as she stood there, focusing on the wall she had made. "Jami... we can't hold this up forever... we need to move"
Nocturnal Aymen's focus and energy was spent solely on Frost now, as Gaea took over for herself, the vines worked to repair holes in the ice, and to catch any of the guards that got near.. each vine that was cut, slithered away, only to be replaced by another. Noct'd move as far as she could, considering.. she was simply using herself as an energy well for Frosty.. Seradhe.. the other that had followed her so close, began to move though.. the tigeress was swift with her actions, and her skills, one guard being knocked clean off the deck of the ship as the tigeress sprinted up to start defending.
Raykit watched as the melee started, a broad grin crossing his features now and a short manic laugh escaping him. Oh someone really did do something! He laughed once more, a claw wiping a tear from his eye in the hard laughter. His trinkets shortly would begin to shake on their own however, pointing out something their master had forgotten, the melee could easily spill over onto the deck and ruin everything he had started. The laughter left him, his features going rather deadpan, he'd snort a soft shrug escaping him, "Maybe i'll get some fresh materials." he would mutter to himself, feeling rather inconvenienced at the moment. He'd catch site of the grey fox breaking through the ice wall, and directing folks through. This one was in charge. He'd sneer, a deep growl escaping him, smoke coming from his nostrils. He'd close his eyes focusing on the his ability to make fire. Unlike other dragons, he was loathed to do so. Eyes opening, he would turn ready to take to the skies, only to see knights had managed to land behind him. A claw hitting his chest as one did when trying to clear their throat, "Well then." he'd state looking at the knights. A wince of pain leaving him as he spoke. He glanced at the weapons a mace and a sword, "How would you like to better know your weapons?" he would ask before rushing forward charging the knight with the blade, a draconic roar escaping him. As he neared the knight with his charge he would leap forward throwing all his weight into the lunge, claw extended to swat any blade before him out of the way. Aiming to throw his entire weight onto the poor knight. If he made contact with the knight, his other claw would quickly go for the knight's head moving to grip it and bash it against the deck of the ship. Little concern given for his partner would would like come swinging with the mace.
The chaos of the fight was about to begin! With the first shots fired, hitting the wood of the dock, pinging off the bollards or thwapping into the sand all around those inside, Sofey was going head on into the fray as more shots zipped right past her, the marine she came upon even blinked in surprise he was rushed, lifting his musket up to aim at her but she got to him first and that hard boot had him stumbling backwards into the hole, falling against the marines trying to push through, falling down and being trambled by his fellow comrades that would come upon the serval, "Hold it!" One of them called out, raising his rifle at her threateningly as two more of his comrades flanked around her swords drawn and ready to lunge at her the rest of the marines pouring out past them to get to the others, "What are these!?" and "Get them off!" came the calls from behind the wall of ice as the vines began to grow and ensnare the marines, slowing them down and eating others, causing more pained screams to erupt from behind the wall, even shots of rifles as others began to use their sabres to try and cut the vines down, the officers doing so rather quickly but Kirkis made a big mistake as he landed on the far side of the dock, finding himself in a crowd of five Raptor Knights! The nearest of which would not even wait for the blind elf to say something and instead, swung hard at the side of the boy's head with the flat of his sword to brain the poor winged elf and knock him unconscious with a serious headache. Fishes?! That was the thought that came through the minds of the trio that went after the otteress, "Hey! Cut that out!" One of them called, deflecting a carp with his musket and rushing after her, trying to catch her by the neck of her tunic and yank her back. Raykit would find himself with some company onboard, heavy boots thudding down onto the floor behind him along with the scraping of claws as two Raptor knights with their hawks landed on the deck behind the dragon, a flanged mace and a sword pointed threateningly at him, ready to rush forward and smite the dragon, "Stand down and you shall live to see justice." Said the knight to the dragon before the charge was made, the horse-sized bird of prey being knocked aside as the Knight slashed at the dragon's chest, grunting as the massive reptile took hold of him to get a few bashes off while his brother-in-arms came in from the side, swinging down the mace with a crackle of eletricity and a force enough to even make someone like Raykit stumble. Spotting that Frosty and Jamison were causing the ice to form, at least that is what it looked like, five marines lined up their shots at the pair, shooting even if they took flight to the Harbinger! lines of soldiers formed at the opening to battle the striking vines with their blades, literally dueling them in a person against plant battle, some of them being whisked away with a scream of fright though. On the deck, Sasha was already helping Jasper get the ship moving, releasing the mooring lines so they can sail before they were cut off from escape.
Kirkis may not have been able to use his eyes as any normal being, though his magic was rapidly although blurred by the amount of mist in the air. The landing far from a graceful one, due to how his magic sight is blurred. Thankfully he wasn't alone and as the sword comes towards his head the orb begins to glow a bright blue, quickly erecting a barrier up around the winged elf to protect it's guardian. The elf taking a deep breath and letting it out. "As a healer of Deatrum, I do not wish to fight," He states calmly as he rights himself, the barrier staying strong as he reaches into the pouch at his side. "Please stand down."
Sofey Eristis's boot sent the Marine backwards and into his fellows, perhaps going so far as to crack beautiful chestplate under the strength of overpowered hybrid such as this; her one ability was to be stronger than most! Sofey stared down the barrel of the musket. "Ye got'eh lot'eh nerve..." said the serval. Brandishing two daggers from her belt with a quick shift of her good right hand. Sofey spun, duck, and spun more; those two daggers went throat-deep on two of the marines, made easy targets as the vines ensnared them. The shot from the musket *PING*d off her chestplate, deflecting nowhere. She moved forward slowly, methodically... and then proceeded to just grab the Marine who shot her by his neck with her left hand. With one hand, she'd hold him there. "Hold'et..." she said back condescendingly, just before the marine's neck snapped.
Jobe found himself drawn to the chaos of an ensuing battle. His mind wasn't there, he'd taken too long to eat, and ever since he'd woke, the shark had been in stalk mode. But hmm.. A fight brewing up, all the blood and sweat in the air. A roar came from behind the ranks of men, two men howled in agony as the Shark's sharp hands were found coming through their chest, clutching to their hearts before yanking them out. He could only imagine the rear ranks would find a distraction from the other threats, as he was right in amongst all of their blades, blunt objects, and musket's. Without skipping a beat he ate both of those hearts, only to drop down, and muscle his way into the filed ranks. While he was within the ranks, he took bites of legs, buckled legs with his tail. People falling here and there, creating a clear line of chaos while the shark searched for a particularly tasty flank of flesh.
Yaelth was a short shit and the moment she's snagged by her tunic welp. It was kind of over for otter butt who is doing her damndest to kick free. She wiggles and squirms, and shouts, raising her fists until finally she's had enough. When all else fails, ditch the duds! Except she has her stuff to think about and instead begins to beat the poor marine with that powerful rudder of hers. "Let. Thwap. Go! Twap." Something about beating the kid into submission and it would work too! The rudder was a mess of heavy muscle and probably could break a bone or two. "I said let go!" Yae wasn't a close quarters fighter, webbed fingers and short stature made it better for her to draw back a string or squint and fire.
Jasper Flynn was so totally moving those mooring lines and settling loose the sails, and doing all the check-list of tasks to get such a large ship out to sea. Along with Sasha, of course! And at break neck speed, as it were, so the check-list would have to be tossed aside. As if the lemur cared for such pieces of paper, either. "We need to open the main sail! Time to go!" He'd call out, glancing towards the beach, and the docks with all the figures either running to meet the Harbinger, or those running to catch them. The uniforms were certain recognizable, the lemur having had a run in with this bunch not all that long ago. They would need to get on with this quickly, so there was no time to lose. So, he'd do the only responsible thing that he could. Started at a running pace, jumped and kicked himself off from a railing, reached out and grabbed a rope high along the main mast. Jasper used the rope to swing the full way around the mast and jumped to grab a higher rigging. He only just managed to hold on! By now, he'd be able to scramble and climb, finding the ropes holding the sail up. He'd pull out a small knife and cut the sail free, and just as the sail and rigging starting to fall into place. The lemur grabbed one of the ropes and was swept along with it back towards the main deck, where despite all of the smooth acrobatics before, he'd only manage to stumble and fall flat upon his face! "Get the anchor ready.." He'd mutter, just loud enough towards Sasha.
Jamison Marshall would nod to Frosty, understanding that she was alright, when suddenly he saw guns pointed toward them! He immediately pulled the icy shards broken from the wall back and formed a small barrier in front of her, protecting her from any shots fired at her. Any shots fired at him missed when he moved, except one which would hit his trenchcoat...and ping. It had hit something hard in his coat, hard enough to stop the bullet. Nonetheless, Jami would still feel the impact, and he could say it would probably bruise later. Once they had fired and were starting to reload, he removes the barrier from the bunny and sends it flying at the troops, slicing them up or knocking them into those troops behind them as he sent the shards careening through the hole which was clearly not getting patched anytime soon.
Dawson Capris ran in from a side, at high speed at that. The beach sand felt soft and giving beneath his feet, but that didn't seem to slow him down. He looked... not quite panicked but was hauling ass. It was time to go. The soldiers spotted from the other end of the beach only made his sense of urgency greater. At his speed, he could out run them and make it on board easily, esdpecially with what barricades were present. It was practically a warzone! "Running running running running!" he'd be chanting to himself as the feline splashed sand up behind him as he booked it.
Frosty Bun jumped a bit as she heard the shots against the ice beside her. She sighed and smiled as she noded some to Jami. "Come on people! Get on the ship! This isn't easy!" she called out as she took a deep breath and lifed her hands to the sides and thickened the sheild more. She didn't want to drain in Noc more then she really had too. Seemed people where itching more for a fight then the get out of there.
Nocturnal Aymen's tails remained curled around Frost, lending the woman all the energy she could muster, without completely draining herself, either. Noct was starting to learn a bit of magick.. thanks to a blue bunny who was currently missing the action.. and she knew the heavy draw it would take on the magic user.. thusly.. the first thing she had really learned, was the channeling of energy. Ears gave a flicker as the action was errupting all around her.. from the ships deck, to the docks, to the ice wall.. Hybird watched, just as Yealth was snagged, and hauled back, regardless of the otters bashings against the guard, the guard didn't seem all to keen to let her go. Noct'd spring, thank goodness for the length in her tails as dagger was drawn from her thighs, the hilt fondled, the dial spun, landing softly next to the marine with the otter, and plunged straight down into his shoulder less he figured a way to block, she'd nick him anyhow. The blade was so easily coated in a paralyzation serum. Nocturnal Aymen'.s arm curled about the otters waist, the moment the guard released and gave a firm yank, a pull.. pulling her out of reach and pushing her firmly towards the gangplank. "Grab your shit and get onboard. NOW." demanding.. sometimes at least.
Raykit roared as he successfully landed on top of the knight, bashing his head trapped in the helm against the deck. Claw gripping the helm as he started to crush it in, squeezing with all his might as his second claw joined in and put all of his strength behind the motion. The knight had managed to cut his chest deeper than expected, a gash running across his chest, for the moment it seemed blood refused to leave his form. Trinkets rumbling strongly against his form, some caught in the anticipation of their master's work while others remained still observers to the melee. With so much attention behind attempting to crush the knights helm and skull he would miss the other knight. Who's mace came crashing down on him, striking him in the shoulder. A sharp yelp leaving him as the enhanced weapon struck. He stumbled loosing grip in his left claw on the other's helm. While his right claw remained firmly gripping the skull. He looked over his shoulder a feral grin stuck on it, he would sharply turn, tail swaying behind him moving to hit the other knight in the legs hoping to catch him off balance enough for him to return to work on the other knight. He stumbled forward standing after the maneuver, gripping the other's helm in his right claw as his left arm seemed to refuse to co-operate for the moment. He would face the knight with the mace sizing up his foe, a quick glance down to the other knight to asses his condition for the moment.
Dawson Capris recognized the need to hurry. Ice walls, soldiers shooting at them for Goddess knew why... he'd ask Nyk later but for now, feet pounded the sand, and he was out of breath, running on sheer willpower and adrenaline. "UUuuuurrrrrgh!" was about the only sound he could muster. Just then, despite all the noise, all the sdhooting... one movement caught his eye, a gun pointing directly at him. A flash of light... and everything seemed to slow down. Reaction placed his hand in front of him, as the gun fired off... Normally, a gunshot could mean the end of someone, but not today. Today, Dawson had fortune with him. Sensing the danger, the spirit within the ring had been syncing quite well with the feline, and, as fortune would have it, the ring glowed, glowing red hot around the finger it was worn on, as the shot careened towards Dawson, before a blue/white jet of fire erupted from his palm, causing the bullet to explode, desintegrating immediately. "Jeezus, what the shit?!" exclaimed, not expecting that, or the fact that it was actually a small firebolt, that ended up punching through the one who fired on him. The soldier fell like a sack of potatoes. "Hot damn!"
The fighting seemed most brutal at the entrance of the ice dome as blood spurted out from the mouths of the cut man and woman that had been snared up by the vines for the serval to make two easy kills, also good meals for the vines as the shooter blinked when the shot to her chest made no progress in killing her, gurgling and reaching up to take her wrist with both of his hands as she lifted him by the neck, struggling slightly before his eyes bulged, body jerking sharply before limbs twitched lifelessly, "No!" Came shout from behind as a sabre was thrust at her back, aiming to skewer the serval from behind when a vengeful comrade of the man she killed came at her from behind! There was a loud clang of metal against magic at the end of the docks when the blade hit the barrier, "You are speaking to the Raptor Knights of
of Kasuria." Answered the man before the blind elf, "Do not presume to give us orders, healer!" Even with his barrier up, there was a rather strong force that suddenly crashed against it, made by a punch of all things with a formidable magical force behind it! More blood painted the sands as a shark showed up, tearing apart limbs and bodies in the fray as men trapped by the vines Kirkis threw down were helpless to defend themselves, their offers standing up to the rampaging beast whose hide was tough enough to deflect most strokes of the sabre but soon Jobe was going to find himself rushing at much more veteran fighters, the officers! Instead of slashes, their angled their attacks in thrusts against the tough shark skin, leaving deep cuts along his face and neck before he'd get to the entrance of the ice wall where the vines would be able to assist him and take some attention off of him. Poor otteress was going to get lifted by not one but two marines! Though getting smacked around by a rudder-like tail had them both dancing while they were at it, "Gah! Stop-nrgh! It! STOP IT!" They yelled right back at her, having her arms hooked by the pits as they hauled her off to catch at least one of the Harbinger crew! That is until Nocturnal leapt to the otter's rescue, the first man blinking once and then catching her by the wrist, the tip of the dagger lightly nicking his skin instead of being plunged in, "You biiiittttshhh...!" As the paralysis overwhelmed his body, the second one was at the mercy of the hard tail, having his feet knocked out from under him and curling his arms over his head if she'd hit him more! -- Nykita met blade to blade against the grey fox, the clash of metal ringing loudly as longsword met greatsword, the two combatants backing off a step before lunging back in with twin snarls, dodging past one another before whirling around to clash blades once more, forcing them down into the sand to have it jump up between them, a screen to shield each fighter with the fox leaping forward with a downward swing, forcing the squirrel to dodge back but trap the tip of the blade with a hard stomp of his boot on it, other leg swinging forward in a kick to the face of his opponent who ducked down before standing back up and threw the blade upwards, literally tossing the squirrel backwards off of it, Nykita needing to flip in order to land on his feet with a huff - blood would trickle down both of their cheeks from an earlier exchange of wounds. The five who shot at Jamison and Frosty had their bullets sink deep into the ice that came between them and their targets, one managed to dive down and two more to the sides but the remaining pair were not so lucky to dodge, getting smashed by the ice and send hurtling back into the vines of the ice wall, Gaea was going to eat good tonight. The battle on the deck was no less brutal as one of the knights whose head Raykit catch screamed with the helmet slowly buckling under the awesome strength of the tall dragon, body ragdolling as blood dripped from the orifices in the head of the doomed Raptor Knight while his second comrade assaulted the dragon with his enchanted mace, still riding his scarhawk as the bird was also trained to battle, leaping up from the tail with a great flat of wings and screeching loudly as the mount of the knight still being held in the grip of the dragon swooped down to rake it's claws against his face, the mace-knight charging once more forward with a strike to the wounded chest of the big dragon and probably damaging or smashing a few trinkets if they got caught between!
Kirkis sighs softly as that magical force hits the shield, the shield thankfully not buckling quite yet. With a scatter of the seeds around him. He faces the one that spoke up. "I really do not like to harm others, though if it is a fight you want, it is a fight that you will get." He states as he sends a pulse into the wood. the seeds shooting up into Vine lashers and start striking out at the raptor knights around him with sharp rapier like thorns that would be able to pierce through the armor. that is if they didn't already start backing up. The orb continuing to grow brightly to keep the barrier up.
Sofey Eristis's lips were turned into a sneer when she heard the man gurgle from life, held up by only one gloved hand. When his neck gave, the serval had but a brief moment to enjoy the kill before her backside was assaulted! Though she was wearing armor, it didn't stop the piercing strike from partially plunging into the serval's backside. Sofey gave a tiny grunt of pain, before it turned into a heavy growl. The overpowered pirate quickly replied to being slightly run through by twisting and bringing the hardest spinning backfist into the Marine's chest, sending him flying through the air and off the docks entirely. She then proceeded to reach behind her and pull that saber from her back and armor, tossing the weapon aside. "Fuck..." she'd just say, putting her right hand down on her thigh and breathing awkwardly. Sofey was in bad shape as blood trickled down from open wounds on her body.
Jobe found himself in the thick of it more than his concious mind would have ever allowed. But his animalistic, Bloodthirsty rage would only be sedated when he finally had a full belly. Amidst all the chaos, the inexperiened marines tried to slice at him, but their blades when met to his smooth, leather-like hide did little more than cause him annoyance. As he stalked, taking pieces of flesh with him when he could; he'd come upon the forward ranks, the officers. They knew better, and started thrusting at him in a stab instead of a slash. For the most part, amidst fellow marines, and with his quick, feral walking so close to the ground, they mostly only gave a few cuts along his face, and throat, but one would get lucky; finding himself with a bayonet in his shoulder. "You!" He called out, tackling the man who had been unlucky enough to bayonet the shark. Marines would encircle the shark as best they could, most being backed into Gaea's vines while the shark tackled his prey. Jobe had no care to look at those marines holding their distance, the shark was too close to the ice wall and vines to help their comrade, all they could do was watch in horror as the shark dug into the man's stomach. His head ripping back and forth to throw strands of ripped muscle this way and that. Before long, the cries of pain from the marine on the ground turned to silence, now missing his entire chest, and his entire heart, lungs, kidneys, and some of his entrails had been eaten without much time at all. Then the shark stood, turning from the ice-wall that had yet to register to look at the stunned marines infront of him now. "Who's next?" A cold, but excited grin forming on his features. One more set of organs might sedate the shark, but.. when he was this deep into a primal need to feed, there was no real telling when he'd be done eating. This wasn't a battle for the shark, it was a feeding frenzy.
Yaelth did not need to be told twice. Tall lady saved her short ass. "Aye, ma'a! Don't need to tell me twice ma'am!" She owed the Coyote for this one! Grabbing her stuff (and one of the carps) She shambles for the boat then! When one was rescued, one did not rush back into battle! Nope. One scrambled up and onto the slip as the otter did then turned around on deck to actually see what she could do to help! It seemed nearly like they had it under control. All she could do was provide cover fire, marines that slipped into sight around the wall were dispatched or at least wounded by the otter's quick shots. Her aim was just to keep the stragglers limping so that folks could out run them. Her only regret? Being unable to provide cover fire for the poor slops being eaten alive.
Jamison Marshall would make sure Frosty and himself were fine, then would turn to go help Kirkis, bring water out of the ocean and slamming it into the soldiers that had him surrounded, carrying them into the sea and giving him a chance to escape. With that done, he would run aboard the ship and attempt to help with the defense from there, starting by breaking some shards of ice from the barrier and sending the multitude toward the pursuers in the sky.
Frosty Bun looked to Noc then as she began to walk backwords. "Noc... lets go... I can hold the sheild... but you need to be my eyes onto the ship" she said as she held focus. Eyes narrowed as she focued on the front of the shield. Quickly long narrow spikes shot out about 5 feet in a row about waist high on the front of the sheild. Trying to keep as many men back from it as she could.
Jasper Flynn by than, had managed to pick himself up from the rough, splintery wood of the Harbinger deck. The fall had hurt, but more so would be the painful stabbing to his pride from such a spectacular tumble! Luckily, or perhaps more importantly, there were the distraction and sounds of gunshots, yelling and likely the clinking of swords and zooms of magic all coming from the nearby beach. Speaking of which! The lemur pushed himself back to his feet! "As soon as they all get a foot on this deck, we pull that anchor up." He'd say towards Sasha, and went to the side railing. "Get all yer' asses up ere' now! O' you can watch the ship sail off into the distance as that lot'!" He'd point towards the quickly advancing soldiers of the Royal Navy. "...drags you away to horrors unknown! Hurry!" He'd clap his hands together unnecessarily, and probably just as another round of gunshot went off. On the bright side, others were getting the same idea now. He'd survey dock's, the fighting, the running group along with the Marine's and caught something a bit troubling. "Oh, for fuck's sake..." He'd sigh to himself and ran along the deck, down the gangplank and on to the docks. Likely to find himself ducking and dodging any fighting going on, but he'd eventually find himself at the heavily bleeding Sofey. "Dun' think I know you, but.." He'd say, keeping low and offering a hand. "If yer' gonna die, might be best to do so someplace quieter, don't you think?" If he could, he'd attempt to help the stranger back to the ship.
Nocturnal Aymen's third tail flickered lightly, coiling in along her frame as the other two still held firm to Frosty, watching as the otteress scrambled on board, a glance was given towards the wall of ice and the pure carnage.. a nod given to Frosty, as the woman began to move, guiding the bun with the feel, and soft tugs of tails, each step was taken quick, while her pace was firm.. if Frost happened to lag behind, she'd give a pull.. after all, they needed to go.
Raykit snorted as the sky raptor of the doomed knight scratched as his face, a claw ripping into his cheek and cutting it open. Even though a a deep gash was made in his face, blood trickling down his face. With a roar of pain he lifted up his left arm, a numbing pain shooting through his arm as the raptor tore into the arm scratching scale but occasionally leaving a wound. With another roar he would drop the knight in his right claw, claw coming to rake across the birds face in a mighty blow. Wings spreading he would jump back, wings beating down to give him some lift and grace to the maneuver as he created space between him and the other knight barely missing the second blow the knight still standing tried to deliver. His right claw gripped his shoulder, feeling the blood trickle from the wound as he looked at the knight with a sneer. With a short chant his claw would leave his shoulder the blood from the blow to his shoulder following in a sphere while blood would now start to exit the chest wound adding to the sphere as it grew to be the size of a baseball before blood stopped leaving the wounds. He would would look to the other bird without its rider, then to the other mounted knight making sure to keep distance from them for the time being. Right claw held out before him as the sphere of blood hovered over it, left arm bloody and hanging limply for the moment as he tried not to move it much more than what was needed. "You should leave this deck before you end up like your partner." that grin still there, "But you won't which is fine." he stated eyeing that rider.
Dawson Capris almost hesitated when the bolt of flame shot from his hand, but the desperation of getting to everyone else came more with precedence. But Now, it was a matter of the proper bit of crew getting on board... and he was quite the able bodied individual at present. He could help here! So he hoped. He wasn't the most skilled fighter in the world, but he often had a lot of luck on his side. And that luck continued to flourish! Catching up with the main group, and out of breath for the moment (but quickly recovering), the feline turned towards the group of soldiers, and drew his own sword, the saber that Nykita had given him. And the luck the continued, as the ring never did stop glowing, and his sword became enveloped in fire, not melting but it certainly looked to be made of almost a living flame! But that call came out to pull out now, to which the feline would give a final look before turning to make his way up the gangplank, sword still in hand, only to make it onto the deck and see the one face he hadn't seen yet, Raykit. From here though, there was little he could do. Running rigging? raising sails? A lot of that had already bee done, getting ready to cast off. So he'd stand at the ready in case of other riders such as what Raykit was taking care of. <e>
The back-fist smashed through a musket to cave in the chest of the man that had stepped up behind her, killing him even before his body splashed into the water a long distance off but the poor serval was not going to find much reprieve, "Any last words?" Came a voice behind her, the voice of a woman with a musket aimed right down at her - it was her sword that had been stabbed through the back of the serval for she was no man! The poor blind elf picked the wrong fight to try and take, the seeds scattering on the deck and turning into vines but the Raptor Knights barely flinched, their enchanted weapons weilded expertly to cut at the plants, shields rising to take the blows as another flanged mace swung down at the barrier that he threw up, putting it's own masterfully enchantments against the barrier to see if Kirkis was going to be able to hold off two of them hitting the forcefield. The battle was going to be a lot more dangerous now that spikes shot up from the ground, impaling the unfortunate few that were caught in them, coating the ice in blood and steam, chunks of the ceiling being hurled up to make the riders in the sky swerve to avoid them before they'd come down with hard thundering cracks, breaking up the fight between the fox and squirrel, Nykita being forced to dodge back and right into the ravaneous Jobe! Glaring at the toothy shark and if the poor boy made the mistake of trying to come at the squirrel for a snack, something would happen... but it was too awful to be put into words and instead, anyone watching would see the poor shark flying through the air, spinning around and around before slamming head-first into the mast of the Harbinger! With the damage being done, the surviving marines were pulling back, choosing to instead fire from afar instead of get close - the Harbinger crew were dangerous enough to warrant such a reaction! The bloodied dragon was going to find himself with a rather determined and grim-faced knight, along with a screeching pair of scarhawks looking to turn him into bird food at this point but as the knight raised his mace to attack, a blue-furred bitch slammed his foot into the side, rattling the air and sending him flying off the side of the deck, Sasha was a powerful fighter indeed and with it's rider gone, the scarhawk scrambled up to take flight and go retrieve him! With a few stragglers left from the crew, the ship may even start moving without them and thus force a few to make some hasty leaps!
Kirkis was dealing with the pounding, those vines regrowing with new heads as they are cut, these ones begin to spit acid from them to corrode at the armor and weapons. Though as those blows continue to be rained upon the barrier, it would begin to noticeably crack, and that is when the water rises to sweep along the knights, those who didn't see it would most likely be washed away except for one that was on the opposite side of the barrier to the water. "Please stand down, I don't like to fight and there are a few that I consider friends. Your men are being slaughtred and unless you don't want the aid of a healer then you will back down." He states strongly, trying to reason with the raptor knight giving him one last chance.
Sofey Eristis's body was slightly bent over at the waist. The serval's left arm was damaged, and slightly limited by the bullet that tore through her shoulder, and now something went into her back that probably punctured a lung and broke a rib, or two. Eyes went up to Jasper, and the serval gave him a weakened smirk, before another voice took her attention away from responding to the lemur. As she was hunched over, reaching for the last dagger tucked into her boot would be a cinch! With no hesitation, Sofey would reach down into that boot, flick her right hand up, and sink that dagger right between the eyes of the Marine! However, at the same time, the Musket would go off, and given the angle would should down Sofey's collarbone and tear up some pretty flesh. "Bullseye..." she said, falling to her knees and letting her shoulders slump and her hands hit the docks. Eyes were cast up to the rain that soaked her face and washed away some of the blood, and she smiled at the pain.
Jobe had no idea what had gone on, the situation was so short lived, and filled with so much chaos, that all he knew was he'd gone to take a good chunk from the squirrel. But for the most part, Nykita likely would only get nibbled. Instead of finding himself where he wanted to be, amidst chaos and bloodshed, he found himself cartwheeling through the air end over end, ragdolling. Sky.. Ocean.. Sky.. Ocean.. The violent roar of the shark echoed as he flew through the air, tumbling through rigging and down a sail, amazingly causing little damage save for a few ropes that snapped from the force. It was rather humorous, as if the shark had been launched out of a cannon onto the harbinger. His body crumpled with a loud thunk on deck, knocked out, and bleeding from his shoulder, mixing with the blood that dripped from his freshly fed mouth, and from the trickle of blood where a tooth was missing.
Jasper Flynn nearly jumped back as the second voice, the marine sneaking in and aiming the musket, was suddenly wearing the sharp end of a dagger to the face. He might of said something, but even if he could find the clever, witty words to convey such a moment, the boom of the gun would have drowned it out anyway! The bullet had struck the serval, and he couldn't help but think that he really was not cut out for the rescuing thing, after all! "Time to go!" He'd lower down to the slumped over stranger once again, and would attempt to help lift her up to her feet. If he could, he'd try to get back to the gangplank, to the ship, or just closer to the end of the dock. Seemed like the best plan. "Right now, less stab, stab and more run, run." But based on her condition, there was likely very little running going on.
Jamison Marshall would see the serval now and realize she was both on their side and in need of help, and would rush over to help her aboard. Once she was on and within the safety of the ship, he'd rush around the deck, starting to load the cannons, firing his revolver at the raptor knights whenever his hands were free and using water on the land-ridden ones the rest of the time. Anything he could to help, really.
Frosty Bun moved with Noc as she was tuged along. The ice wall was no longer a white-blue shade. Now it was tinted red with blood from all the death that took place infront of it. Reaching back, she felt the ships railing as she got onboard. Once there she moved behind the railing and kneeled. keeping her focus on the wall from the just over the railing. Not wanting to be a standing target herself.
Nocturnal Aymen had focused still on Frosty, mkaing sure the bun was on board, making sure she was well covered too.. If others reached for the ship, she'd aid them up, simply working to get everyone on board before the ship pulled out of port entirely.. as it had already began to move, after all.. and that would surely leave some with quite the trip to get on.
aykit laughed maniacally as the knight was of coursed focused on trying to end him. "Come then! Let me add you to my hoard." trinkets rattling in laughter with their master, once the knight was knocked over by Sasha, Raykit would blink as if confused. Where had the female come from? He watched as the one scarhawk took after it's knight leaving that one to focus on the one that was still on board. He would point at the bird, the sphere flying towards it, "Burn." he would command, and the sphere would burst into flame. He'd hope to burn the bird, allowing him to charge forward and jump the creature. Claws moving to dig into the exposed flesh of the creature and pull out what he could, focusing on the creature's neck. Focused on ripping the bird's throat out, ignoring what claws might lash out at him as he dismembered what he could of the creature. He'd glance up catching Dawson in the distance, "Make sure he's done!" he'd yell focusing on finishing the bird, he was referring to the form of a crumbled up knight on the deck of the ship who had his helm crushed in by the dragon earlier. He knew the knight was down, but wasn't sure if he was dead or not. In truth he'd hope the knight wasn't done so he could have fun down stairs first, binding a soul like that to a weapon would be wonderful.
Dawson Capris didn't have to be told twice. The one on the ship deck was still alive. Still moving. All Dawson knew was that these people were trying to harm the now only family the feline had. He didn't know why, but.... did it matter? He looked to the downed warrior, his sword at the ready. The man on the ground hadn't done Dawson any wrong, which, under different circumstances might have changed things... but at the moment leaving the fighter alive would mean trouble. The feline looked down. "...Forgive me." and with that, the firey sword came down. No hesitation.
Nykita Aymen was going to be the last one on the deck of the Harbinger if he could help it, pulling anyone past him with a hard shove to get them moving quicker as he'd hold his side with one paw, blood soaking deeply into the side of his shirt and pants with twin sits of teeth marks having pierced through the fabric to cause a nasty bleeding wound - damn sharks! Giving Sofey a glance as she was guided onboard before looking back at Kirkis, the elf still trying to put up some resistance against the Raptor Knights - it even made the captain wince a little as the skilled warriors turned towads the blast of water, raising their shields and digging their feet into the deck to take the blast of water before stepping back to give the elf a chance to stand down but if he insisted of trying to tell them to stand down, electricity would surge through the water barrier from one of the knights before a blast of fire would incinerate the barrier of water and expose the poor blind healer to a beating into submission unless he surrendered first and be taken in for questioning. With the Harbinger casting off, the squirrel would leap onto the deck and duck back as cannons were fired, causing an explosion of sand where the cannonball impacted, bouncing off and smashing into the wall of ice, vines and dead bodies! They beach was going to be one scene of gruesome horror but luckily, those on the Harbinger were going to have a chance to recover and bandage up before the frigates caught up to them.
Kirkis sighs as that barrier finally cracks under the magical pressure though with that, he quickly runs past them, relying on the dexterity that his brethren are known for, as the healer certainly wasn't going to stay for a fight. The orb glowing brightly once more to erect barriers to prevent the knights from landing any blows on his frail body, soon flapping his wings and making a leap to get airborne and on the ship. He wouldn't harm them any more but instead chooses to leave, relying on the orb for sight as he soon lands harshly on the ship with the rest.
Sofey Eristis's body was helped aboard the Harbinger, though she wasn't going to be of any help to anyone at this time. Sofey would slouch up against the railing of the ship, body being soaked by the downpour from above. The rain still continued to help wash the blood from her body, though Sofey's wounds weren't going to just seal themselves. A
, twisted grin was on her face amidst all the pain she was in, and Sofey looked briefly up to Nykita. Those two-toned eyes conveyed something words couldn't. In spite of the pain, Sofey was calm, breathing regular, and looked rather exhausted. She'd reach for her flask at her waist along her belts.
Raykit snorted as he stood, covered in the blood of the scarhawk. He tossed whatever chunk of bird flesh he had in his claws to the side and approached Dawson, putting a bloodied right claw onto the young man's shoulder, a squeeze given to it. "Good." he would state flatly, some tone of disappointment as he hoped to play with the knight first, but the deck was secured. He rubbed his left shoulder a bit, ignoring the other wounds to his face and chest. He knelled down and gripped the knight's body. "Check on the others as we move out. Then join me below deck when you can. I'll need assistance cleaning my wounds." he'd state as a fact. He sneered, not enjoying the fact his shoulder was injured. He caught a glimpse of the shark's form on the deck, "I'd tie that one up as well." before continuing below deck.
Jamison Marshall would watch everyone come aboard the ship before it would occur to him that it was raining, and there was ice nearby. In one last final attempt to distract the attacking soldiers, he'd hold his hands out to the air above them, creating a cold zone that would cause the rain to freeze there, raining needles upon the soldiers. Once he had made sure that would remain for a while, he turned back to helping the crew and making sure everyone was on board and taken care of.
Frosty Bun soon turned and leaned against the wall of the ship where she sat. Letting her focus go on the wall, it was easier to smash now that she wasn't repairing it all the time. With the cold zone from Jami, they'd have time to get away.
Nocturnal Aymen lingered, at the railing, nearest the dock, moving along the ship as it pulled away.. if anyone was last to jump on, she'd offer a paw to aide them, or a tail or three.. if anyone injured simply couldn't reach, she'd assure they too got on.. there was no leaving anyone behind for the hybrid. Not this time. Though she silently hoped the Hollow would welcome them back someday.. as she had liked the place a lot. Once the ship was out to sea, and the carnage was left behind, soft steps carried the woman to those on board, the ones bleeding, and wounded, the ones down and out. If a wound wasn't real severe, she'd wrap it real fast, tearing her skirt up as she went, simply quick ways to stop the blood flow. If the wounds were more serious, she'd note it, tie them up and move along.. Once the crew was no longer coating the deck in blood.. which.. mind you.. gaea was quick to slurp up.. she'd return to the worst injury, and check the status of that body, eyes, breathing, heartbeat.. everything was timed, and calmly handled. Digits traced along the servals cheek gently, studying her. The blood loss was grand and there was no doubt that the wounds she had taken weren't serious... serious indeed. Quietly, the woman worked on the other, watching her. "Hang in there for me.. this will sting." was given, as she worked over the hole, compeltely through her left shoulder, followed by the chunks of flesh missing along her collar bone.. recalling quietly, that she had also taken a saber to her back. Noct'd frown. "I need to get this one down to the med bay. Someone give me a hand." Was called out over the crowd.
Sofey Eristis's body is still up against a railing, slouched. The flask of very fine rum was found amidst her belt, and it was brought to her lips. If she was to go down and die, she was going down drunk... It was the worst decision for someone in her situation, and the pirate captain didn't care. Deadening eyes looked up at Nocturnal, and a small smirk was formed. "Ol' Cap'n Sofey Eristis ain't never lettin' go, lass..." said the pirate, whose teeth were clenched while she felt more pain.
Nykita Aymen looked more annoyed than concerned with the wound on his torso that the lovable sark left on him, lifting his paw away to see the blood soaked into his palm and fingers before looking off to the side - no time to be distracted by flesh wounds, "Unfurl the sails!" He'd call out, glancing over to see the blind elf landing on the deck too and pointed at him, "You! Help Nocturnal with the wounded." And with Tykari and Arkwin both missing, they were down on the medical hands on the ship and thus Frosty was glanced at next, "Frosty, they may need help and some extra hands." There were still plenty of non-wounded crew on the deck to have the ship sailing strong, "...no one gets bound or tied up on this ship!" Came a rather snarly response to the idea of binding Jobe up, "Jamison, take him..." A point to the unconscious shark, "...down to the infirmary too." He was going to stay up and do command things!
Kirkis removes the blindfold once he lands on the ship albeit a bit harshly. Summoning forth his energy to truly do what he is best at. He quickly makes his way to the otter that he sees had taken the most damage in the fight. "Everyone that is injured I will deal with." He states loud enough to be heard as he makes his way to the otter upon opening his eyesr,A green tinged white energy surrounding him as he gets on his knees next to her. Remembering the last time he met her she didn't appreciate the magic. Still, injuries are injuries and so would begin to send that power into the female to begin the process of healing. Jobe started to rouse from the deck with a grumble. His right arm wouldn't respond, and when he tried to put weight on it, he crumpled into the deck with a oomph from his face hitting the deck. "Yep.. broken.." he grumbled, pushing off his tail to stand, and then making his way towards the railing with a limp, using tail like a crutch before he started to mount the railing in preperation to let himself into the ocean and make a clean getaway. At least the crew was nice enough to let him live.
