If you wanna go to the tavern, you type @tavern. It's what you do.

So I did just that, and, I guess because someone had been standing at the normal teleport coordinates, this happened to Re:



I mean of course you can just @tavern again, but still is a bit of an awkward situation, having a coniferous tree suddenly right up yer...backside. []

How dare you insult Sirs Fir and Evergreen of the order of Stonemason's Block! They stand there t their posts day in and day out protecting the tavern from all sorts of harm! Shame on you for denying them the company of a warm body in the cold pouring rain. SHAME!

I think it was just a spoof. The teleport works fine, but someone may have been afk;'d on the spot so, as the ds is commanded to do it "moved you to the nearest open area" which was apparently Sir Fir and Evergreen's territory.

Yep. I was able to replicate it by having an alt teleport to the tavern, then remain in that spot while Re did the same. It's a bit random where it sends you. Sometimes you go into the wall, which lets you walk around a bit, but doesn't get you to anywhere you shouldn't. Sometimes you end up trapped with a tree. []
