What consists of medieval fantasy roleplay?
Anything, but some players stick to using terminology from that era as well as clothing and tech, even if steampunk tech is applicaple. Ask another player what they meant by A if you are unsure. Some words and roles in medieval times were different from today. Same goes for tech or any sort of such. If you play D&D you know quite well some things fly and some things do not. In a low tech dream some folk stick to historical terms but play medieval werewolves, as opposed to modern archetypes. Please before assuming ask questions.
More may be added to this thread be it questions or what not to discuss Medieval Fantasy. It may help you understand how each other plays toward their character and less likely to cause a misunderstanding due to different language or your belief that grenades did not exist til WWI (pro tip they existed since Ancient Greece as well as Flamethrowers and Napalm)
