This has been a question many have asked me. About the dates in the Hollow.
This is a tricky one because of so many different backgrounds of characters, some follow Furcadia Lore others do not and here at Peddler's we accept so many different forms of backgrounds it can get confusing.
So here is an easy way for us to keep up with one another:
If your character has its own form of record keeping that is fine, however I would suggest using this format for any official records for the Hollow such as but not limited to Fighter's Guild Reports, IC letters, order dates to shop owners etc...
Genre of the Hollow: Medieval Fantasy - think Lord of the Rings, we do however bend a bit for people to come and go from the Hollow such as 'steam power', 'crystal energy' and even some items have been known to be found from time travelers. Yes... we have talking cats and dogs with flying humanoids..... please be respectful of other players plot lines so they too can get into the Hollow.
If you have any questions about technology please talk to an admin!
And the current year for us is: Anno Domini which means in the year of our Lord. However we do not really follow a Christian calendar here so you can use this phrase for the year or Year of Crath. Ending with our current year IRL as 2'15 - Makes it easier for everyone to remember.
Example of today's date: dies Saturnī, February 2'15
Can be written in any order you like.
**If your character has questions about the dates of the stars and planets ICly, please have them talk to Eden. She is the local Astrologer and has been known to write up star charts as well as Zodiacs of both light and dark.**
